1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Prayer Times, Qibla & Quran app. A mobile app’s Terms and Conditions agreement sets out the rules and restrictions for anyone who uses the app and helps limit the developer’s legal liability. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
While not legally required like a Privacy Policy, a Terms and Conditions agreement provides important benefits for both us and our users – it lets us clarify what we expect from users and helps protect our rights. The App is offered for informational purposes related to Islamic prayer times, Qibla direction and Quranic content. It is not intended to provide legal, medical or professional advice.
2. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to download, access and use the App for personal, non‑commercial purposes. This license does not transfer any rights in the App to you. You agree not to:
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit the App;
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App or attempt to derive its source code;
- Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The App must be used only for its intended purposes. Activities that are strictly prohibited include, but are not limited to:
- Using the App unlawfully or to harass, threaten or abuse others;
- Impersonating someone else or using another person’s account;
- Attempting to collect personal information from other users without their consent;
- Introducing viruses, malware or harmful code into the App;
- Interfering with or disrupting the App’s operation or networks.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including terminating access to the App, if we suspect any violation of these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App and its content (including prayer times calculations, textual content, graphics and logos) belong to us or our licensors. These materials are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, display or create derivative works from the App or any portion of it without our prior written consent. Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
5. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The App and all content are provided on an available basis without warranty of any kind. While we endeavour to provide accurate prayer times and Qibla direction, we do not guarantee that the information is always accurate or error‑free. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non‑infringement. We will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
6. Modifications to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update or modify these Terms from time to time. The Terms and Conditions agreement allows us to retain the right to update or modify terms. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide notice within the App. By continuing to use the App after any modifications to the Terms, you accept those changes.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion for any reason, including if you breach these Terms or if your conduct would cause us legal liability. Termination of the account does not waive or affect any other rights or remedies we may have. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, any licenses granted under these Terms will end and you must delete all copies of the App from your device.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. If you are accessing the App from a jurisdiction with laws or regulations that differ from Bangladeshi law, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws.
