Google Play requires developers to be transparent about data handling and to limit collection and use of personal and sensitive user data to purposes directly related to core functionality. - Calculate the direction to Mecca (Qibla) and determine accurate prayer times for your geographic location.

Location data is processed locally on your device; we do not transmit or store your precise location on our servers. Google Play prohibits using location data for advertising or analytics and limits access to essential functions, and we adhere to those requirements.
1.2 Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage statistics (for example, feature usage or crash reports) to improve app performance and user experience. Usage data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
1.3 Device Information
Basic device information (such as device model, operating system version or language preference) may be collected to ensure app compatibility and to optimize performance. This information does not directly identify you and is processed anonymously.
1.4 Preferences and Settings
Prayer settings, selected calculation methods, and other preferences are stored locally on your device so that the app functions correctly. We do not store these preferences on our servers.
2. How We Collect Data
Data is collected directly when you interact with the app. This includes granting permissions (location and notifications), adjusting preferences, or using features such as Qibla direction or prayer reminders. We do not collect data in the background without your knowledge. 3. Purpose of Data Collection and Use
We collect data solely for purposes directly related to the app’s functionalities:
- Prayer time calculations & Qibla direction – Your location is required to compute accurate prayer timings and the Qibla direction. Without location permission, you may need to set your location manually. We do not use location data for advertising or unrelated analytics.
- Prayer reminders and alarms – We use your device’s alarm/notification functionality to schedule local notifications for each prayer time. You can customize or disable notifications in the app settings. We do not access call logs, SMS or other personal files.
- App improvement – Aggregate usage statistics help us understand how users interact with the app. We use this information to fix bugs and improve user experience.
We do not process your personal data for any other purposes. Data collected is limited to the purposes disclosed and to those reasonably expected by the user.
4. Data Sharing and Third‑Party Services
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share your precise location or personal information with marketers or advertisers. We may disclose aggregated, non‑personal usage statistics to service providers who assist us in analysing app performance, but these providers are contractually prohibited from selling or using the data beyond the services they provide to us.
If we integrate third‑party services (for example, Google Play Services or analytics SDKs), we ensure that these third parties comply with Google Play’s policies on user data handling. All calculations for Qibla direction and prayer times occur locally on your device. We do not store your location data or personal preferences on our servers. We employ industry‑standard security measures, such as encryption and secure communications (HTTPS), to protect any data we transmit or store. Access to personal and sensitive data is limited to app functionality and cannot be used for advertising or other unapproved purposes.

We request two types of permissions:
- Location Permission – Required to calculate the Qibla direction and accurate prayer times. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device settings. However, revoking may limit the app’s functionality. We request only the minimum level of location access necessary to provide the feature.
- Notification Permission – Optional permission to send prayer time reminders. You can enable or disable prayer notifications in the app settings. Notifications are delivered locally on your device and do not involve transmitting personal data.
- Alarm Permission – Optional permission to send prayer time reminders. You can enable or disable prayer alarm in the app. Alarm are delivered locally on your device and do not involve transmitting personal data.
We respect users’ decisions if they decline a permission request. If you refuse location access, you can still manually set your city or coordinates to obtain prayer times and Qibla direction.
7. Children’s Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can delete such information.
8. User Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Know what data we collect and how it is used – This policy explains our practices and we maintain transparency as required by Google Play’s User Data policies.
- Access or delete data – Since we do not store personal data on our servers, most information remains on your device. If we ever store data about you, you may request access or deletion by contacting us.
- Revoke consent – You can disable location and notification permissions through your device settings at any time.
